i feel like your mile times are really slow? iunno, most athletic friz guys i know can run 2 miles in under 13 minutes...heck in XC ppl can run 3 miles in 16-17 minutes...i dont know you, but i think you may have mistyped the time or miscalculated the distance? cause u seem athletic
I'm using Google Maps to calculate the difference, and it isn't exact because it doesn't account for topography. I'm running up and down steep hills, without a warmup, and half the time I'm returning from a strenuous yoga session (I push myself, it's a workout). I can do a mile in under 6 minutes, and recently I did 2 in 13:40.
That being said, long distance running is not really suited for Ultimate. I'm in shape, but I am very balanced in my strengths...I have decent endurance and decent speed. I feel that sprint repetitions are more suitable training for Ultimate, so I'm only doing these 2mi jogs to not get fat and lazy during the off-season. Please sign your name, if you ever comment again...it sucks to feel that I'm writing in a vacuum.
