Power Gym
Had my first Power Gym workout of this season today. It is very different from last year--no footwork/ladder drills, less stations, an inferior warmup, but we are learning olympic lifts. My form is not great, but will improve with experience I should think. I did 3 sets of cleans with 89lbs (bar + 10kg plate on each side), 6, 6, and 5 reps. Other exercises that we did included pull-ups, chin-ups, lat pulldowns, toetouch-pushups, "man-makers" (pushups while gripping 15lb weights, one delt row each side after each pushup), squats on the half-ball thingy, and throwing medicine balls up/down/against the wall. We also did some jumps over a hurdle, no more than one step before the jump. That was good.
