Heidelberg TL Day 2

Would have really, really liked to stay in bed this morning. But we were up and out the door at 7:50am and had a chill breakfast at the fields, warmed up and did another all-day practice until 3pm. It was rough at times but the team is getting stronger. I'm glad we don't have to play against each other the next time we meet--we'll be in London playing together for the first time this season.

Heidelberg TL

6:44am S-bahn, Regional Express to Heidelberg, a cautious warmup and a long, hard practice from 9am-5pm. A mildly disappointing dinner in the same Greek restaurant we went to last time, then a kickass dessert of coconut ice cream, melted chocolate and whipped cream, plus a slice of homemade vegan birthday cake. Wow. Plus I got to sleep in a real bed!

The skies opened up right at the end of the game vs the Boston Tea Party, it was absolutely ridiculous what wind and rain we were hit with. It cleared the fields and all games were postponed for a few hours. Crazy.

We watched The Invisible String in the evening, it was a pretty decent documentary. Interesting if you're into Frisbee. The party afterwards was pretty much a dud, though, so we went home early.
