Wildwood - Day 2

Lost our first game by a slim margin to a team that was pretty lame. Second round we played Wicus Has Weed to about 4-4 before some other random team forced us off. Apparently they were scheduled to play Wicus Has Weed and we were on the other side of the bracket, on some other field. Super lame, and very anti-Wildwood, the way they were fussing. It was nice to hear that Wicus Has Weed trounced them to the tune of a double-digit drubbing. Once we found our opponents, we also made short work of them. For the final round we found an empty field and played Wicus Has Weed during the 3-1 round time, to have some fun and get the game over with. They won pretty handily but it was a good time--Dusty skied the crap out of French for a few points, and each time much heckling ensued from the Pimps bench.

After beach, shower, pack, pizza, we hit the road with a last-minute carpool back to DC with some co-rookie Truck teammates.

Pimp V: Legacy went 4-0, though technically our second round opponents didn't exist. Instead, we played half of Slutgers, another Rutgers and friends team that happened to be playing one field over anyway. No recollection of the scores, but it was a good day.

Summer League

17-16 win including a few goals and assists, and one big-boy sky D against an old Breeze teammate who says I fouled him but I was too hyped to notice. He didn't maintain the call though, and later in the point I got the bookends on a deep cut. I also had a couple miscommunication turnovers, too, though.
